{ people sometimes don't understand why i take offense to things modt others don't usually care about. Thats probably because you don't and won't know why. Things like transgender characters are perfectly okay with me, as are crossdressing characters. But when someone refers to them as a tranny or a trap, it gets me upset. Theyre not trannys, and i had no fucking clue what a trap was. I still don't. Is it slang for transgender character ? Why can't they just say transgender ? Or just leave it out ? I'm confused. I'm transgender, yes im a girl whom wishes / wants / acts like / be a boy, but i dont call myself a tranny or a trap. Thats why it offends me. Its like when you call a homosexual person a faggot. It may not be offensive to a straight person, but it sure is to a homosexual. }

Honestly I ran into the same issue with my brothers last night when I revealed to having dated two pre-transexuals (someone wanting to be of the opposite sex but have not gone through the surgery yet to do so). They called him a tranny and I took offense but when asked I didn't know exactly how to explain it.
It's a way of life that shouldn't be judged or brought critic to. If you being straight isn't under the same microscope then why is every other sexuality? ))
